Beside posters shown at conferences and articles at The Astronomer's Telegram the publications associated with the ITN "Black Hole Universe" consist of two major parts:
- CORE
at least one of the authors of a publication is in the researching position of a network project
- RELATED
at least one of the authors is an advisor of a network project and the science of the publication is related to this project
Each part is then divided into refereed and non-refereed publications, called others. The former are usually published in journals, while the latter are mostly conference proceedings. Posters and telegrams are not reviewed by a referee, so they are a subsection of other publications.
